OK, so we went to Overland Expo West just outside Flagstaff Arizona at Mormon Lake last weekend. Oh my gosh, that was the most awesome show we have attended yet. We will probably be a vendor at this show next year. We saw more roof racks on every kind of off road vehicle than we have seen combined in the last year. The wind was a huge bummer, and we nearly frozen, but we made it through all the vendors on Saturday and had the best time.
We visited with our friends at Jackcovers.com to see what new items they have. Adam is a great guy, and if you have a Hi-lift jack on you rig, you should have a JackCover. We also stopped by the sPod booth the talk with John. He has the best accessory switch system on the market. There were many other vendors there as well, and we would recommend this show for all off road, and camping enthusiasts. You will have a great time, and you can also take classes to learn many overland activities.
Then we drove 2 more hours north to the Grand Canyon East entrance to look at one of the biggest holes in the earth. It was worth the drive, and we also saw the most beautiful elk along the side of the road.
We are now counting the days till we can go back.
